My name is Keith Clark and I’m a Graphic Designer from Michigan currently living in Arizona. After graduating with a college degree in design I took a Graphic Designer position at the Michigan House of Representatives. While working for the Representatives, I designed print advertising for the political industry. This is where I began honing my design style and understanding how the design process worked in a corporate environment. I learned how to work closely with print vendors and best practices as a designer.

My career took a new direction and took a Graphic Designer job in Chicago at Schawk Retail Marketing agency for 5 years. While working for Schawk, I designed print advertising for the retail industry. This is where I learned the process of advertising and worked my way up to a Art Director position. I learned a lot while working for an agency and it helped me grow professionally as a designer and gave me skills to give my team the art direction they needed.

My wife and I decided to relocate to Arizona and I took a Graphic Designer at the PetSmart corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona for 5 years. While at PetSmart, I designed print, in-store, outdoors and web advertising for the retail/service industry. This is where I learned the design process of digital advertising and how to design successful marketing materials. Learning how to design digital marketing gave me the skills to grow even further as a designer.

After parting ways with PetSmart I took a Graphic Designer position at the Massage Envy corporate office in Scottsdale, Arizona. While at Massage Envy, I designed print, web, packaging, conference and outdoor advertising for the retail/service industry. I gained experience in how to build a brand and the ability to design promotional materials that differentiated us from the industry.

I took a short hiatus from Massage Envy and took a Graphic Designer position at Kahala Brands. While at Kahala Brands I designed print, packaging, conference and outdoor advertising for the food franchise industry. I gained more experience in brand identity working with 10 plus brand franchises and producing promotional materials.

I then was recruited back to Massage Envy as a Senior Graphic Designer. I’ve continued building marketing materials for a brand that is strong and differentiating. I have a vast amount of experience and continue to grow as a designer everyday. Learning and being influenced by fellow designers has always been a positive experience throughout my career. The design industry is constantly evolving and I believe creative influence is always the key to being a better designer.
